No Bs Training
No B.S. — short for No Being Scared — is more than a mindset. It’s a movement for people who refuse to freeze when life hits back. Through martial arts, motion, movement, and mindset training, we help individuals and visionaries build discipline, courage, and confidence — on and off the mat.
Whether you’re an artist, athlete, or everyday fighter, this training will sharpen your focus, strengthen your flow, and help you swerve past fear to live with purpose.

About Zion “Swrv” Birdsong
I’ve been training as a martial artist for over 15 years, developing skill and character within the framework of Grandmaster Bruce Lee’s philosophy of Jeet Kune Do (JKD). Jeet Kune Do is more than a martial system — it’s an operating system for life. I trained under Sifu D. Amari Jackson in Atlanta, Georgia, studying arts including Western Boxing, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Kali Escrima, Wing Chun, and Aikido.
Through my training, I learned that martial arts must go beyond art and expression — it’s about character, awareness, and adaptability. We respect and value every martial lineage. We don’t train to be masters; we train to be masterful students, continuously refining what works best for our flow — both on and off the mat.
My lineage traces from Sifu D. Amari Jackson, who studied under Sifu Kenny Keith of the Durham School of Martial Arts, and Baba Taji Nanji of the New World Martial Arts and Fitness Institute. Their roots connect to Grandmaster Dr. Moses Powell and Guru Dan Inosanto, who trained alongside Bruce Lee and was one of the three chosen to teach JKD. This lineage shaped my understanding of martial arts as a tool for peace, clarity, and strength.
During my time living and teaching in Taipei, Taiwan, I shared these same principles with students from around the world — encouraging them to build courage, creativity, and composure through movement.
At No B.S. Training (Swerve on Being Scared), we use martial arts and mindset development to help people train out of fear. The goal is to move with passion instead of caution, to live confidently and peacefully. We blend arts and techniques using full-body armor for realistic learning, ensuring no one sustains injuries while developing flow and focus.
“It’s easier to love people when you’re not afraid of them.”

My name is Zion “Swrv” Birdsong (宋士安).
